We were sooooo excited to hit up HP AGAIN! The park officially opened May Long weekend and we were there with Grandma and Grandpa H. bright and early! So, without any more preamble, here is the glory of our favorite place in Alberta...

We got on the old Ferris Wheel early before all the crowds got there. It's not quite the same as Disneyland, but still, by the middle of the day you could be waiting at least a half hour to get on, and who wants to waste their day doing this?
Next, the swings! Here is everyone in line...As you can see, even Grandpa loves the swings-- he always gets in trouble from the staff for fooling around!!
According to the clown, Ockey was not quite tall enough to do the swings so he just kicked back with some popcorn and Clowny for company.
Emory, of course, couldn't participate too much, but he still got slathered up with sunscreen and once in a while he got out to walk up and down the boardwalk-- his favorite pastime is walking...
The carousel is, of course, the prime FAVORITE of all FAVORITES!

Below is the Caterpillar ride. We love it. And above, the boys enjoying the it with all their young boy hearts!

The horse and wagon ride is great! We love to see the whole park without walking the whole way.
Here is the engine-- Grandpa's favorite engine, so he tells us. If you notice the picture at the very top of the post it is the engine but I used the fun features on the camera.

Spence was trying to be creative while taking pictures in the old train cars...Spence was enthralled with all the old fashioned stuff in the old trains...I didn't put in the picture of the toilet, but he was engorssed in it all!
We were so happy to have the day with Grandpa on his birthday! Thanks Dan and Deb for the glory of Heritage Park!!
