WE ARE HERE! WE ARE HERE! WE ARE HERE!

Hi Everyone! Here's the latest update on the life and times of us!!
Well, our trip was pretty painless, considering we had to stop for something every hour or so. We got infested with mosquitoes at one stop-- they invaded the car and we spent the next 50km hunting them down and squashing them before they ate us! We also saw some wildlife along the way-- got good closeups of a bighorn sheep, some mountain goats, a moose, an elk, and gophers... the boys didn't know what they were! Below is our last glimpse of Tsawwassen as we drove off the ferry, so long ferries, and may we never be plagued with your terrible scheduling again! And below that are the goats on the side of the road.
The boys also loved the tunnels that frequent the #1 and so we had to take numerous pictures, but I only put in one, for their sakes! (Just indulge us in this, please.)

Dave pulled an all-nighter to get to Calgary as soon as possible, and when he arrived at 4am, he somehow lost his way in the newly developed neighbourhood where his parents live, and accidentally knocked on the wrong door!! Yep, GOOD MORNING NEIGHBOUR! It's 4am and you're not my dad! Anyway, the guy was pretty decent about it, and seemed a little better with directions in the wee hours than Dave.
So, now we're here and things are business as usual. Dave's liking work; he enjoys being the only employee and doesn't feel like the peon, which is always good. He gets to go on his first work trip to Saskatchewan this weekend to install the cabinets they are finishing up today, and that's adding the variety he needs to make him a happy Dave. We feel blessed that this opportunity opened up to us in such an unusual way, but then, that's usually the way the Lord seems to work in life-- unusual opportunities to answer prayers and help us be happy. This is our new (to us) home-- minus the brown, that's been painted over, thank goodness, but it's on a little dead end street and the boys can bike until their little legs can pedal no more!
Here is the Chubby, as cute as he can be after a swing at the park! And I just had to put in the tubby picture below because there's nothing better than a little chubby naked jigger!! (Some of us love the chub more than is probably healthy!) {Ignore the dates on the picture-- they're obviously not correct!!}
