Fun in the Summer!!

Soooo, the Much-anticipated Summer is here and we have had LOTS of F-U-N! First, off, we'll say that Dave's birthday was perfect. I actually can't remember even what we got him right now, he probably got himself something that we agreed would be a birthday present...maybe I'll remember as I continue to write. Ockey's birthday took a long time coming and he has lived vicariously through everyone else's for 8 months, starting with mine in January, so he blew out the candles for Dave and all that fun stuff! The only picture we hae of Dave's b-day is a video and they are the very DEVIL to upload on my blog for some reason, so you'll just hae to take my word for it!

We have done some summer baking that ockey has gloried in. He made several bun snowmen, one of which is documented. He was so proud of himself, but bummed that the raisins fell off after it cooked. (If anyone knows the trick to keeping them on, let me know)

We have also gone to the lake with Dave's parents a couple of times this year. Once, the boys went fishing with Grandpa...
and then once was just for boating, etc. Actually, it's not Spencer's favorite place to be, but Dave keeps hoping that Spence will end up loving the water as much as he does! Here's Debbie (Grandma H) and Okes.
And another one of Ockey in his Dinosaur hat and shirt, cheezin' it up of the camera. (He loves the camera)

The boys just love their new brother!! As is evidenced by the number of silly poses they take with him! I have to admit, he is pretty cute!

(That is NOT a dimple on Ockey's cheek, it's plain grubbiness!!)
And then our Rice Cousins came to visit for a month! We went to Grandma Julane's with them one day and to the Dinosuar museum [but I couldn't find the camera so these are from Grandma].
and had lots of fun with the Sweeties! (Isaac generally refused to pose with them)
We did some silly faces and brownie smiles just for posterity!

Check out the GLAM shot of Uncle Paul in the background!! LOVE IT!

Suzy loved holding the baby,  And here is also Grandma Julane (Dave's Grandma Heninger) and then me and Debbie.

Dan got out the Studey (Studebaker) for a little Sunday afternoon ride. This used to be the Heninger family vehicle in the 60's.
